long rotor ?

i have the NAPA / Echlin no for the ling dist rotor tip. Mo-3000. but is there an other no in case my parts man cant use the NO i have? will getting the work done in the morning. thanks.

i got the reg rotor. iam not sure a 2001 dak V6 3.9 uses the Mo-3000 p/n. so ill just go with the reg rotor. its missing bad . i think i put a plug thats to cold and its dropping a plug out. my mech will get it done Sat.

Oh... And your going to need a Holley....

Some of the other forums have brought up this "long rotor" and evidently it's a hit and miss deal. Ignition part no's will interchange from one brand to another, but it appears that due to "sloppy" interchanges, stoppage (obsolete) manufacturing, and other glitches, that interchange no's don't always come out "long."

The fact is, "not everybody" ever made these

Worse, my understanding is that Standard / Blue Streak is a ghost of it's old self (THANKS CHINESE!!!!) and is now part of Echlin / NAPA

What does all this mean?

We are screwed, that's what.

i found that the "long rotor" does NOT fit my V6. got the ignition system changed. it does run fine. ill see if it stays good.
