Does anyone know who built a 1968 AMC AMX and put in a Chrysler 440 motor with cross-ram carbeurators, 3 speed manual valve-body torque flight and Chrysler radiator which supposedly came from a car called the "Time Bandit".

I'm trying to locate the person that has the Time Bandit to determine who built my car. My AMX came from the Pittsburgh area and was at Norwalk, OH 2007 Norwalk Mopar event. I was told that the Time Bandit was part of a private collection it is thought to be a psychadellic paint color bellivedere Mopar.

If anyone has any information as to the owner of the Time Bandit please reply to this post or does anyone know who originally built the red 1968 AMX (which would be over 20 years).

Welcome, I too have never heard of that car, I did a google search and the closest thing that comes up is the Red Light Bandit. Good luck in your search. Got any pics of the AMX?
