Oil pan pickup problem again

I have a Mopar performance 8qt pan p5007816. I just got my oil pickup in today Mopar Performance p5007817. The pickup is wrong it hits my rods.. Did somebody swap out the pickups in the box. Or did I order the wrong item.

Here are two pics, what does the 8qt 3/8 thread pickup look like. I know the half is the square one.

The one I got looks like #2, jegs and a couple other sites show a pic of the round looking factory one being a 3/8 thread 8qt pickup. Am I missing something, I am screwing it in the block were the stock one came out. This has really became a pain in the rear, I thought by useing Mopar Performance parts I would be cutting out the BS of fabbing and head scratching.

Thats way more than a little bit, aint it! So if you bend it out of the way...Will the pan still fit? Or is the pickup just wrong?

The problem with Mopar Performance parts these days is that they can even be made in China.

Yah sad to say, The guy local I talked to that builds a lot of Mopars for the strip had told me he does not use their stuff anymore. He had said their stuff was made poorly now. Years ago when I messed with a lot of Mopars their stuff was top notch. Im not a big GM fan but their crate engine stuff is awesome, that zz502 and 572 are bad a$$.

The defense dept asked the generals if they would have a problem with shooting american citizens if they said yes they were let go. I cant remember where I read or heard that. But I kinda believe it with all the BS over gun control.

Got another Mopar Performance pickup in from Mancini, it still was not correct but closer. It was 1 1/2 inches off the bottom of the pan and still hit the tray. I did get it bent correct and got it to work after taking it on and off about 10 times.. I will never buy another Mopar Performance pan or pickup again. JUNK..

Before pic before I altered it.

Was it actually 1 1/2" off the bottom ??? IT should be about 3/8" I wonder if a short extension from pluming dept would work

Yah 1.5 off the bottom and it still hit the rods, I got it all worked out, took some of the bend out of it. It just pissed me off buying the correct pan and pickup and they do not fit correct. If I have not been farting around with this pickup problem for 3 weeks I would have sent all of it back and got a Milodon set up.
