My 1936 Dodge Brothers D2 Business Coupe
This is me and my '36 Dodge coupe. I named it Aneurism for all the grief it has caused me... I was going for an old school look, rebelling against billet. Everything shiny that isn't painted is chrome plated steel. It has the chrome reverse wheels with baby moons. It hasn't got any upholstery yet, I'm hopefully doing that later this year after cruise season is done, planning on cream colored leather. I swapped the 318 out for a 360 over the winter, I hope to get it started this weekend. It has a 904, and a leaky noisy GM 10 bolt which will be corrected as soon as I can find a C-body or truck 8 3/4 housing I won't need a second mortgage for. The running boards were sprayed by a friend of mine with Line-X bedliner coating. The rear fenders are fiberglass, 2" wider than factory; it looks wicked from behind. I've added power steering and a/c to it with the new engine, going for a little more comfort.

Been a while since I've been on here, I got the new 360 running about a month ago and sumbitch that thing's wicked quick. Haven't hammered on it yet as it's only got about 70 miles on it but it will easily break traction at 1/2 throttle, before the secondaries even think about opening. She's had a couple of little bugs- weeping thermostat housing, leaky header gasket, drippy drain plug gasket, but nothing major thank goodness. Oil psi is great, 70 psi @ hot idle, temp runs about 185- 190. It has better throttle response than any carbureted engine I've ever had, the cam is fantastic. Been hitting the cruise nights since she's been running and so far it's been great!

sorry BUT i have say. you should remove the fuel line HOSE and replace it with steel brake line. hose as fuel line is very dangerous. get a good tube bender, and flaring tool. learn the bending and flaring. on engine fuel line and trans cooler, and oil pressure lines, lines you MUST use STEEL, do NOT use copper, or ANYTHING else. the factory used steel for a reason, SAFETY!!!!!
I use high pressure EFI hose on all my connection that are rubber..Good point Moe.. that would really suck to watch all your hard work go up in smoke because of afuel hose failure... The line that is on there is plastic milk hose isnt it..Lol I know you will change it and you probably just wanted to hear it run...Bill
