well i chromed the valve covers today, put them in the copper for about 2 hours to try and fill some of the pits. they came out good enough considering you barely see them and they're 40 years old haha
after i read this comment and looked at it, i realized how high it is. then went out into the garage and checked if it would clear and sure enough it doesnt haha. im just gonna make some L shaped brackets to move it forward and down. thanks for saying something better now then when the hoods going on haha
hey, I think those long ram manifolds are the rare ones. Notice the split part doesnt go the whole length of the runner, they only go about half way {that trough on the top}. That type only came through in the last of the long ram years and only for a short time. [they raised the rpm of the peak torque point]
Can anybody back me up on this or am I crazy? [i might have old-timers]

thanks, and ya your right. these intakes are good up to about 5800rpm compared to the full length runners which was only somewhere in the mid 3000rpm range. i didnt know that when i got them either, just got lucky with them, then found out about that on the forabodiesonly website
