Hey gang... so I got my 440-3 freshened up... replaced my cracked water heads with a rare set of perfect ones... new springs and the whole 9... and going with the silent timing gear set rather than chain.

Now... the ignition.

I know and like alot... the Pertronix from all my IH powered Scouts.
So I want to go Pertronix in my 440-3 as well.

So the point... do I get the Pertronix dizzy and the guts? Or do I just get the IGNITER guts and put it in the stock dizzy?

And I know to NEVEr get the Igniter first series... so I'll be going for the Igniter II... or III's. Any heads up of which and why?

Which Pertronix (part #______) unit do I get?

Saw a thread where a guy is unloading a loaded P. dizzy.... because "it did not fit with his heads". Anything here I really need to know?
