72 413 wedge cc?

Ive cleaned up a 1972 413 B/RB, Truck, J413TH .. its now re-bored to 60 over with a more aggressive cam and flat head forged pistons with molly rings now. I need to find the CC and the Intake Specifications so I can go searching for the right heads for the job. previous heads have the cast number 2899943 but my searches come up with blanks on the CC, intake, and exhaust amounts.

Are you going to use car or truck heads?
All 413 cars motors came with closed chamber heads around 75 cc to 80 cc, these had smaller valves than later big block heads . The only closed chamber big valve and port heads were 1967 383 and 440 heads, the 915 heads with the 75 cc to 80 cc chambers.
For the truck heads I can't help you out with information, generally not a hy performance part.

The 915 heads can be cut to 70 cc and fitted with 2.14/1.81 valves.
But whatever you use valve clearance will need to be determined.

I am confused... you don’t have any heads? You don’t know how to put the CC of the heads you do have where they need to be? Or you have a number for the CC heads that are specific to what the build is?
And did you really use “Ford Flat Head Pistons”?
i could just be over thinking this?

Im going to put it in a car. 74 Charger, top to bottom front to back replacements on just about everything, I expect plenty of modification to make it compatible and functional

no I havent gotten new heads yet. I saved the block from the rust heap, got it cleaned and bored. the existing heads are more suited for "truck" use and not in very good shape anyways, Im putting together a Charger so Im adding the bells and whistles where I can to save an old school muscle car from the rust pile.... so I need to get some info like the CC, intake and exhaust (which is eluding me) so I can order a proper aluminum head with necessary compression for the end result.

this is my first project so forgive me in my "language" is lacking.

Ah, Ok, Got it now.... Can your machine shop CC the Camber / Intake / and Exhaust for you so you have the numbers you need?

Depending upon the pistons, but all car 413 had closed chamber heads...... so your pistons will require them to have any compression. The 915, 1967 heads are what you need. If your looking at aftermarket heads you will need 75 or smaller chambers just to maintain stock compression ratio. The early 413 and 383 heads had small ports and valves and are not as desirable as the 915.

I'm going to pass on going back to the machine shop, he might have done decent work but it took him 5 months to get around to finishing the boring.
