Flexplate to converter bolts stress?

Hi! I just start thinking how it is possible that the 4 flexplate to converter bolts can hold the amazing torque some engine give? Flexplate to crank is atleast 6 bolts 7/16 but the flexplate to converter is 4 bolts 5/16 or 7/16, how is it possible that 4 small bolts can hold that high torgue from a HP engine? I can take my engine as an example, 493 cui stroker, 10,45:1, Edelbrock e-street 84cc, Edelbrock rpm intake manifold, Edelbrock 800 avs, xe275hl cam, Tci streetfighter, Tci break away converter 2400rpm stall, Sfi certified flexplate with 7/16 ARP bolts to the crank and 4 ARP 5/16 bolts to the converter, i dont know how much power and torque this engine put out but it have wake up alot since it was a original 440 smog from 1977, just courious how this small bolts can take it, i not have any problem but just want to know how it is possible? Can someone please explain it to me

Think of it as a pulley turning a pump, the larger the pulley the easier it is to turn the pump, therefore less stress on the bolts. I don't know how to better explain it hope this helps.
