First off, Welcome to the forum!

Now onto the questions. As far as using the cam in another motor, you can, BUT.... It depends on how long that cam has been in the motor that you got, How the motor was run (beat on or babied), Are there ANY markings on the loobs, what do the lifters look like on the bottom. There is a lot to look at when doing this. If anything I would leave that cam in the 360 and get a brand new one for the 318. You don't want to chance it.

As far as the numbers go, I can't really help out out. Sorry. I would run them through some performance part websites though and see if anything comes up.

if you can, look at the cam. check the lobes of it to see their condition.

welcome to the forums MJ and as far as the lifters i would throw them AWAY and not look back and look at the wear on the lobes to see if it is an even wear but i would just stick it back in the 360 as the cam bearings are allready worn to that cam but what was your oil pressure before you took it apart ?? Buy a new cam and save yourself any headaches further down the road and always replace the cam bearings for a new cam / never use old bearings on a new cam as like i said they are wore to the cam you pull out

the pic of the cam didn't come up last time i opened this thread up but it did this time and what i see is rust so GET RIDE of it and go with a mild new cam and lifters as the rust makes pits and its very hard to get it out with out destroying the lobes

Take the cam to a good machine shop and they can "read it" for you. They will measure the lobe separation/lift/duration and you can buy a duplicate if that is what you want.

I’m in the same boat. Just opened up a 360 from a friend and has this same cam in it. Anyone figure out what it is?
