Tank fuel 18 or 19 gal

I have a charger srt8 07, the tank fuel (19 gal) have a leak so I need to get a New one.

Can I put an 18 gal tank on my charger?

Are you sure it is the tank and not one of the lines Check all those crappy plastic clips that connect the fuel lines
