1976 d100 /6 headers

I am looking for a header or performance exhaust for a 76 d100 with a slant 6 and 3 speed manual transmission. My old manifold has a bolt broken where it collects into the single pipe. Instead or working to make the old one reusable i would rather hop the motor up a little bit. Dutra duals just cost too much. Has anyone tried the weld it yourself kit for a /6? Any other recommendations would be helpful. My engine is stock, but i plan to build it a little, prolly just intake, carb and maybe cam. I can weld, have some experience with this truck and trucks in general. My budget for this is under $500.

it seems “headers” and “ affordable “ don’t belong in the same sentence anymore… Some of the prices are just crazy…

I bought these for my Fairlane because they were the only full length headers available for the vehicle in 2001, I paid around $300.00 then. $709 now!!! Crazy
I will say that they are the best fitting headers I have ever installed, literally slipped in from the top.
