'68 383 Sparkly oil

Motor is a '68 383, comp cams hydraulic flat tappet cam with 1.5 ratio adjustable roller rockers, block is bored 30 over with Keith black pistons, about 9.2:1 compression etc. Pretty common street build IMO. Bottom end was done about 2 years ago and it still seems to run good.

So at the end of this past summer I changed my oil (like I do for every winter before I park my car) and saw little sparkly bits in my drain pan......
Last driving season I did notice what I think to be my lifters seemed a little on the noisy side my last couple times of driving so I assumed this was my issue.

I am finally getting the time to take a look at this so I have pulled my top end apart and all of my lifters look to be in great shape, rocker arms were all still nice and tight. Im terrified to ask but any suggestions on where to start looking now?

Any direction would be great thanks.

Put a straight edge across the bottom of the lifters. There shouldn't be any light under the straight edge

Look inside the oil pump.
