72 challenger Oil pan leak small block 360
Hi got a 72 challenger 360 small block, oil pan leak passenger side near back, you could see it drip on header, changed two oil pans and gasket still dripping, should I try a better quality oil and should I get the one piece gasket, any places for a good pan.
Are you verifying that the pan rails are straight before you install the pan?
you can do this with a straight edge, I have found that even new pans are not perfect and need a little work with a hammer and dolly. I’ve only used the one piece pan seal on a sbf but so far it’s working fine. My buddy at the machine shop has used them when the budget allows with success. But I would give the pan rails a good looking over and make sure they are straight.

Oh man... The dreadful leaking oil pan !!!!!
When you install the oil pan, Did you add a little dab of sealer at the corners of the lip seal ends? And just to add, You are using to correct end seals for the oil pan being used? If i am not misstaken there are two different oil pans, 1 large lip seal and 1 smaller lip seal... Just a couple things to look for... Keep up posted... Cheers...
