engine got hot...

Question engine got hot...

already rebuilt my 360 L.A but it's getting hot, opened radiator and water is not moving through engine, water pump is working properly, lines are clean so what's this about? could i have a left rotation water pump? help!!!

Take your thermostat back out and put it in a pot on the stove and heat it it to it's rated temp and make sure it opens up.

You sure you got 'er full? ALWAYS pull the heater hose loose at the heater. You want the one up next to the stat on the manifold, and fill until you can "tip the hose" over and get coolant out.
