What type of oil in 1959 Chrysler New Yorker with 413 engine?

i'm sure just sae 10w30 or 40 would be fine, but more info would be nice. how many miles? leaks? tapping? does it run hot? is it mild where you live?

Just make sure you ad a zink additive like this to your oil.

These guys have good info...
30W was standard back in the day..... I agree on using a classic car motor oil with Zinc added.... Check Amsoil to get an idea >>>>> https://www.amsoil.com/
Or the LUCAS and add Zinc >>>>>> https://lucasoil.com/products/lucas-...plus-motor-oil / Also look at the classic car and Hot Rod oils...

Them old 413's run pretty darn good.... Happy Cruising !!!
