Mopar lifters

OK I have never had the heads off of a Mopar before and need a little info, please.
The engine is a 1996 Magnum 5.2L (318) in my 66 Dart Wagon.

I am about to pull the heads to replace head gaskets.

Before I remove the rocker arms and take out the push rods, is there anything I should know.

I got a block of wood with holes drilled in it to keep the push rods in the right order. Do I need to keep the rockers in the same order?

When putting the rockers back on, how much do I tighten them?

Is there a torque setting, or a way to make sure I do not over tighten them? Can I over tighten them? I know on a Chevy if I make them too tight, all the valves open.

Is there anything else I need to know before pulling the heads or before putting the motor back together?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You dont have to worry about the push rods they are all the same. Just keep the rocker on the rocker bar and pull it off as an assembly. On reassemblly just tighten the bar down gently and with even torque somewhere around 30 in lbs not sure of spec but snug is good. Remember tight is tight to tight is broke..Lol. Make sure all the push rods are in the lifters and rockers it is really simple once you get into it. Have fun..

It's an assembly? Awesome. Easier than a Chevy!
Hey thank you.
I do not know what I would do without the help of the people on this board!

Wow, I just pulled one of those rockers. It is a nicer set up than a Chevy! That is going to make reassembly a lot easier!
Thanks again!

22 ft lbs and the cam MUST be on the base circle of the lobe or you wont get the reading due to spring compression.
