new camshaft, new bearings?

I'm going to change the camshaft on my 360, I already bought a set of clevit camshaft bearings but If I'm right the unique way to change them is with crankshaft removed and engine out of car.

The engine has less than 1000 miles since rebuilt and I guess my mechanic replaced cam bearings while assembling the engine

So, what should I do? could be safe to install an aftermarket camshaft without replacing those bearings?

Why do you need new cam bearings?

You don't have to change them if they are in good sharp....
