'62 727: rear pump/support check ball location

Hi,

I am rebuilding a Chrysler 62 727 tranny. When removed output shaft support from case / rear pump, a check ball fell off and now i cant reason the location.
Pic or link and other help is appreciated. Thanks.

thanks for your time guys.

it is aluminium case. push button shifter. drum brake at end of tail housing.
my atsg book does not recognize a rear pump model.

if your documentation does not show a check ball back there i guess it is not necessary.
please comment if some of you have a better view.

i appreciate your help. thanks.

I'm at a disadvantage because I've never worked with a virgin 62 to 64 trans, everything I've had my hands on was I later trans modified to work with the cable shift.

I looked again this morning with no luck.

i got the rebuild parts and started to reassemble -- and found where the steel ball is from:
the ball holds rear pump gear on output shaft.
