727 pan gasket

727 pan gasket

Are the 727 gasket all the same on the tranny pan..or are they different apon years??
if so where can i find the date code to check ??

Pretty much the same for many years. Best to attach the gasket to the pan with Indian Head sealant ( AKA Permatex brown **** brush-on ) or High Tac but non on the tranny case side which should be perfectly flat.

yes, the later style gasket works well.

I agree. I just used the later style and it was so much more convienent.
