Help with distributor?

We have recently ran into trouble with our old 318 home built chipper (not by us). Need to find a new distributor but cannot locate one anywhere. I'm wondering if anyone here might have any ideas? Here's what it looks like.......appreciate any assistance.

Thank you so much!

Jess

Yes....it's going to be hard to find. The gear drive is for the governor. The whole ignition etc is out of a 1970's 318. 😰

Have you given thought to rebuilding that one? Or could you get a stock 318 distributer and just use the shaft from the original?

Must have an old Pierce Governor on it?.... I am with FivePoint, I think if you get a 1974 for later 318 with electronic's you can more than likely swap the shaft out and be good to go....
