it doesnt have any numbers its too worn out...... it dosent tighten or loosen.....i eliminated the switch and the car start with the key know.......i dont know if its a result of eliminating the switch but the car run fine but some time when i step on the brakes to slow down the car turns off..... any ideas...

 

that's part of the seat belt interlock system. look at your front seat belt retractors. they should have a wire coming out of them. there is also a weight sensor under the drivers seat (possible the passenger seat too)

a 74 automatic n/s switch has three wires.
