1975 d200 issues
Okay so I have a 1975 dodge d200 camper special with a 360. I have owned it for about 2 months now and never had issues until recently. It will randomly stall and sometimes be hard to start again. I am looking for possible answers and solutions. Thanks for all replies

I'd be taking the fuel pump and running it in a bucket to do a timed volume test. Making sure to disable the ignition system before cranking. If it showed proper volume as per spec then the carb would be coming off for a look see and rebuild.
Now it could be something else but based on age and RV limited use sitting with an older gas tank, with your described symptoms, this is the place I would start.
Oh yes, and Welcome to the site!

Update! So I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filters and it still does it. Seems to only happen when the engine gets hot. Plus it has been pretty hot where I live the past couple days so that isn't helping. Also i will add that it has a edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and intake. Carb is a 1406 I am going to replace the rubber part of the fuel line tomorrow a wrap them in heat wrap as the lines were getting quite hot

Did you confirm the fuel pump was bad before replacing? If you didn't it could still be a restricted fuel pick up in the tank. A proper and full diagnosis should be done before changing parts so you know that you have corrected the problem.

No I didn't confirm that but this only happens if I drive the truck for about 20 minutes and once I let if sit a while it will be fine again for another 10-20 minutes then same thing and right before it stalls there's a big backfire. The carburetor gets hot when the motor is running could this maybe be the issue. Like you can't even touch it it's that hot

Not sure what it is. It's not a lot of smoke it's only noticeable when you open the hood. Don't think it's an manifold leak since I recently changed the gaskets but maybe could it possibly be the head gasket?

So it did it again today after not much driving and I took a plug out and checked for spark and there was no spark. But if it sits for a bit you can drive it a little more. Like a couple blocks hen same thing. Any suggestions. Maybe the distributor rotor and cap or the ignition coil
