Quality clutch parts? 1973 W200

Morning!

I am preparing for the transmission rebuild (NP 435) and so if anyone believes a specific brand is superior for the clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, and rear main seal, please post a reply here.

THANKS

-Ken

If you have a local Med. H.D. truck shop around you? That would be who I would deal with for your parts......
But if your looking for an opinion? if it is going to be a OEM replacement? Centerforce or Beck-Arnley are good as far as I am concerned,,,,
Fel-Pro or Victor for the Gaskets and Rear Main Seal..... Rite-Stuff for sealer....

THANKS Bob!

Stupid me- I should have mentioned that the purpose of this truck is to tow a 6,000 lb travel trailer.

So if a clutch disc upgrade would be in order, please let me know, and what the upgrade would consist of.

Thanks!

I dont think i would try to go to crazy with something too H.D. in that case.... All that will do is make your leg tired.. If your looking for something local, Try your Napa store and take a look at the LUK Brand.Should be a good replacement kit , Pressure Plate, Clutch Disc, Pilot Bearing/Bushing, Throwout Bearing, Ect, Have the Flywheel Surfaced, Make sure the front trans seal and Throwout bearing retainer are good. Just my 2 cents worth...
I am guessing that this is a Small Block powered truck.. Just a hunch... lol
