Question Reliable or Upgraded Ignition Module for 82 W150?

I have a W150 from 1982 that hasn't been running for the past 11 years due to an ignition issue. Motor was rebuilt in the late 1990s and the vehicle has about 900 miles on the new motor. The brakes failed in 1999 and the vehicle hadn't been on the road since. I've been able to start it and plow my driveways with it for a while, but the original ignition module failed.
I picked up a new one on eBay some years ago and installed it. The first time I started the truck, it ran like a new truck. The second time I started it, it ran like the wires were wet. I ended up replacing the module a year later and pretty much the same thing, first start was great, second start was poor and would no longer start after that.
I suspect the modules bought on eBay were made in China as they were $38 each.
I'm thinking of taking another shot at it this fall and putting in another module, but I want something that will last a few years this time around. I'm looking for suggestions on either genuine Mopar, or an upgraded module that will give a stronger spark than stock and be more robustly built to last.
If I can get the engine running again, I can run a new brake line or two and new transmission cooler lines and hopefully be able to clear my driveways this coming winter.

Give one of these boxes a look at when you buy.... >>>>>> http://4secondsflat.com/Ignition.html
But... When you get started all all this old truck stuff..... Make sure you clean all the grounds and make sure all the ground cables are clean and making good connection through out the truck to start with... That will save you a lot of headaches and chasing your tail and other issues....
Have fun... Good Luck.... And Keep us posted with all the cool pictures !!!!

Wow, wish I had found a product like this 20 years ago. I might still be running my truck.
I'm reluctant to spend over $100 on getting the engine started though, because I'm not 100% sure this will work and that the rest of the truck won't collapse from advanced frame rot. If I throw away < $100 on this, I won't feel so bad, but $269 + tax and shipping would be about $300 and if it doesn't result in engine running, and a usable truck for plowing my driveway, that's a lot of money to be out of. I'm retired & on a fixed income, so money is tight. I used to shovel my two driveways myself, but then some houses got built across the road from me and there's a HOA that plows the road--unfortunately leaving the snow banks 4-5' high and 10-15' inside of, my two driveways. I could not break through and broke my shovels. Was almost going to go into debt on a nice deal on a 2006 Ford F550 diesel with 10' plow and sand spreader for $16K down in western PA, but my insurance company would not insure it and my wife, who sometimes drives the truck, doesn't do manual transmissions. As such, I figured on making one last attempt at getting this Dodge to run. If the engine starts, then I could install a new brake line or two to replace the ones that rotted out, add some transmission fluid and inflate the tires and see if they hold air. If it can move under it's own power, I should be able to clear my driveways of snow again.

Ok... I get that... I this case... Do all the ground stuff... Get the BWD or Eclin From Napa... Drain the fuel. Blow out the lines, Swap out the filters, clean out the carb, Put new fuel in it, And see how it all works out...
However... If the folks did that to me.... I would get a D4 Dozer and push all that Chit back over on the other side of the street... Of course with a few bags of concrete mixed in it... See if the HOA like clearing that..

Keep us posted it you get it running...
