We've had it over the chassis and looks like it will fit, actually "fitting" and installing will take some time. My wife saved a file of pictures so I'm about to try posting some for the first time soon.

Yep, That always takes time. The guys that do that everyday sure make it look easy. Don't they?
Hope the fitting and fabrication goes well..

Well it's been a fun day, got up to 14" of wet snow! Let the dog out, no I opened the door and pushed her out first thing then called my neighbor and told him to dig me out. No way my back can handle moving wet snow. Oh what fun......

Just started a new thread with photos titled Shawn's Chassis. Worked on the rear to match the body making the rear bars 28 1/2" long, which looks like I'll have to rethink frame behind driver's cage.

18-22" on the four link bar is kind of the basic...
Very cool... Will have to take a look and follow the build.

Just above freezing here and sunny, beautiful. Cup of coffee watching USA Russia bronze medal Women's Curling, good match, Canada and Sweden in the final later today.

Measuring up the body before Shawn takes it away to give me more room in the shop to work on the chassis. Yesterday I was working on the chassis while he and his friend and the wife were limbing trees and chip/shred/burning waste cuttings, who has a good life, I'd say me, and very grateful.

Ya, I took the day off I've got the crud and I never get colds.
we still have 5 of the 14" of snow we got last Saturday so I'm going to have wait a little longer to get going on the Ford. Think spring!

Got coffee, got dog, got sore body. This chassis building is hard on the 59yr old body, but love it. Weather will be just above freezing this coming week. Shawn was out at Mom's spreading 2 ton of gravel so he'll be plenty sore today too.

Let the muscle relaxers kick in and see what I can get done today.

Spring would be a good time to get going on that project... way to cold to be out in the shop without a lot of heat !!! Feel better soon. Iowa is sure known for that white stuff..

Man, I have to hand it to you, Chassis stuff was hard for me when I was in my 20's and 30's ! All the odd ways you have to lay and weld. That makes my ribs hurt just thinking about them days. lol
As for Shawn, Man I feel him, Just this last summer I got rid of 4 tons of 1" that I had around my place. Hard work when your not use to doing it everyday... Feel better Dan, you got a lot of work ahead of you.
