Scheduled day off for me. It's 3 dogs and a couch to recover from those 3 days of car building. Yesterday went to see Granddaughter and I fell asleep while visiting. Everyone new I was working hard so it was OK, but what an old guy move.

Funny you mention falling asleep, I took a nap before the kids showed up....lol Fewwww dodged a bullet on that one....
I'm only working Monday and Tuesday and then I'm off for 5 day. I'm sure I'll get in trouble somehow !!!!

Cold here, warm inside with pancakes and sausage, dogs and coffee. It's resting day for me after 8 hrs on the chassis yesterday. Added some more photos on the thread.

Good Morning... I seen those... looks like you are making some good head way? Looks like you might be about 1/2 threw welding in tubing. And getting ready to start fitting and welding body tubes and fastners?

I’ve been doing more refrigeration work now that the other fridge mech retired. Worked on lower coil over mounts last night. Shawn and his buddy are doing a reno on one of our bathrooms I’ll just have to do plumbing hook ups. Dogs are tired not getting all their sleep time with all the activity. Mommy is happy picking out new bath fixtures and colours.

Shawn informed me that he will eventually get this car going 200 mph, damn kids!

As his Dad I don't like the idea, 800hp 150-160mph, I'm OK with that, 1600hp he's the guy who can do it, but 200mph scares me. This kid is intelligent, innovative and up on all the modern electronic tuning devices so making power no problem. His hard work and 12hr days might just pay for it.

Crazy kids these days.

I'm a lucky Dad, too many young people today are chasing the Dragon (heroin) a terrible epidemic.

His goal could be 5yrs off so we'll see.

Up early today, damn dogs, coffee in hand and later shopping for vanity and toilet. Shawn back out to Mom’s to pick up and speed more gravel. Guess I’ve got the lesser of two evils.

Freezing rain still coming down, everything is being cancelled even Church services today. Authorities are asking everyone to stay home and not drive. I'm sure it's going to be smash up derby like yesterday.

Shawn will be wrecked today, he had 6000lbs of gravel in Douglas and unloaded by hand by himself yesterday, he said it was 1 inch off the bump stops but the V10 pulled no problem. Love that truck!

Almost forgot, ITS BRISTOL BABY!

At 25 or 30 dollars for the same kits I paid $1.20 for as a kid I don't think so.

Woke up to snow on the ground again this morning. If all goes well the weather should move out and I can finish tidying up XJ and get it out this weekend. On the other end of my spectrum, Bandimere is starting up test and tune nights, hoping to get ZJ out for it's final voyage down the track this summer.
