Yes, We are still working.. The City that I work in has activated it's EOC (Emergency Operation Command)... So not only do I work my regular Job but I am On-Call for any other needed work assignments. And also have t deal with all of my home dutys taking care of my ill/disabled wife. And now with all the food hording crap happening, we all get to deal with that also... But all in all, we are good... On the home front, we are in voluntary "Stay at Home in Doors" But only go out if you have too.
I was out last evening to go get fuel, and man was it weird to see everything closed up except Drive Thrus and gas station. When the big city looks like a Rural Area, it's kind of spooky.. You know kind of like "The big city that never sleeps all of a sudden it just goes dark".
However, Being the Country boy that I am, I don't get to worked up over it. Now I will just sit back with another cup of coffee and read the Good Book (Bible) and do a little reflecting... Had enough of the news for the week, At work and here at home.

Yes we are doing fine, the boy thinks his job to drive me crazy but I'm taking him down to the river this afternoon and do some fishing. A little social isolation at the waters edge.

 

Man, fishing sounds like just what the doctor ordered.

 

Sounds too me like its going to be a nice day.... Catch it / Gut it / Cook it / Eat it !!! that should keep him busy...

Yeah, weather is great at the moment. I have inside stuff to do, anyhow, so not heartbroken over the sprinkly sky stuff.

We are all good here at my house !!!! Be Safe !!

 

We are well and isolating at home for three weeks now. I stopped work before government asked and my wife can work from home. Waiting this moment for announcement from our provincial leader. Just watched our prime minister give another no answers, just thank everyone broadcast. Many elderly care facilities are having high numbers of deaths.

 

The boy and I are ok here but I have had to vencher out for grocerys and there are some stupid people out there. I had an old guy my age try to get in a freezer at the same time I was. Tact went out the window for a minute or two while I informed him to keep his distance.

 

Good here. I'm still working (essential employee). Wife had to close her beauty salon down. The retirement plans took a hard hit unless the market makes a quick turn around. Ohio's stay at home order just extended till May 1.

 

Good Morning Y'all... I'm Happy to hear that you and your families are doing fine and staying well !!!! We here in SO-CAL are headed for a few days of cooler weather with a little rain, so that should help keep us indoors.
Hope you all have what you need to stay safe and out of harms way. Please watch out for those people that are on what I call S.O.S (Stuck On Stupid). If you have to get out.

Oh me, I'm working in the home shop today... A couple honey do projects....

 

Yesterday was a little different than the usual Saturday, the school had a parade of the teachers and aides at 1:00. The boy has been off from school for four weeks so this was supposed to help the kids connect with there teacher. Me personally, I just thought about how f'ck up things are.
