Just purchased a 2014 Challenger R/T

I just got home from purchasing a 2014 Challenger R/T. What a nice/fun car to drive it handles so nice and is amazing. It has so much power and pulls hard through all the gears. It is Black with Black interior and Red stripes just on the front fenders with the R/T logo. I have wanted to buy one since they came out in 08 but never could justify the price. But I thought and decided you only live once...I would post pictures but don't know how to??????? I guess the Duster has to go as I have to many fair weather vehicles and only drive the Duster very little in the summer... (no a/c) and the fuel is killer...Bill

Very wise.

I got tired of annual touch ups on my old cars. The price and caliber of a newer car far outweighs the nostalgia of the old one.

I hope to soon pick up a Hellcat when they are more readily available

The one thing that is totally stupid about the car is with all that performance it doesn't come with limited slip diff. that should be standard equipment not an option.. And stupid me thought for sure it would be.. So now I have the Super Track Pack option with 3.92:1 gear, with an open rear. I guess its time for an upgrade... I am just pissed at myself for not doing more research... What a stupid way to offer a car when it is an R/T with a stick...Bill

Congratulations on the purchase!

I would have thought that any Challenger with a V8 would have had a LS as an option and the R/T's would have it as a standard.

Hopefully this link here helps with posting pics - https://moparforums.com/forums/f4/po...pictures-2128/

Well I just found out the salesman didn't know his ars from his elbow. The R/T package does have limited slip as part of it... The best test is to try it out, and it does have it trust me... Also it has The Super Track Pak which is all performance handling package. Now all I need is some warm weather and unsalted roads. These Goodyear Eagle F1 tires don't like snow... LOL I cant even get out of my driveway as it is snow covered.... Ahhh the great Northeast Gotta love it....Bill

I finally got the chance to put the car up on the lift and check out her underpants.. They really beef these cars up in the later years. And was surprised to see true dual exhaust with an H pipe to boot. everything is very heavy duty not sure if it is because of the Super Track Pak option or what but it is a plus. I wish the roads would dry up and the salt would get washed away soon.. I seem to own to many fair weather cars.. Or maybe I'm just to **** about my investments....Bill

It has taken a while for the new body styling on the Charger and Challenger to grow on me but they finally have. Congrats on the new ride hope fair weather reaches you soon.
