Druellin, this is one of my favorite parts of a project, you're finally getting to the top of the hill. Once the paint is on and it's bolted together it's on to finish work.👍

They make some beautiful rigs. Very pricey of course. I bought my windshield wiper motor setup from them. Lol... $1000 plus shipping, customs and exchange rate. Another builder to check out is Desert Powerwagons. They build crew cab models as well, something that never existed.

Me too. I still marvel at how dark it is and then just pops when light strikes it. The lead guy on the project came in to work on it today...a holiday. Dedication.

Well, shop is slow at the moment so lots is getting done. Hood got painted today and is in booth drying. Lots of little pieces painted. Running boards and battery box still to be done. Wiring is being sorted out. Rad had to go out for a little more work. Picking it up tomorrow if everything isn't all snowed in. Between two and three feet over the last few days and still coming down. Box has to be lined yet. Console going out to upholstery shop shortly. Lots of little stuff to do, but can definitely see light at the end of the tunnel.

Lots of little things happening at the moment. But we are also waiting for parts to arrive. Waiting for rivets to put hood back together, a custom piece being made for the cooling system and a new windshield frame. Thought we could save the original frame but too many little rust through's on the lower section. The new one we just ordered is actually aluminum. We're getting there!

You wouldn't believe how worried I was about that. That somthing I would have insisted that I had before painting or I would not have painted it....
if there was a row I would have stuck to my guns. With my luck I would have to get back into paint. 🤨
Glad things are going well!

We were concerned too. We thought cab might have been twisted out of shape slightly in its previous life. But all went well. We have yet to do a leak test on it yet. Oh...and it came painted.
