Has anyone replaced the transmission lever seals? I have a 3 speed A230 and it's leaking from 1st and R lever seals pretty good. I saw I can get the seals on Rock Auto but wondering what's the process? Will the transmission need to be pulled to do this and is there a special tool to remove the old seal. Thanks

 

Just remove the side cover.. Replace both seals. Make sure to get a side cover gasket (New) and trans fluid. Not to hard to replace at home. it you have some basic tools.
