2009 challenger lights flicker
i have a 2009 challenger r/t it has 4400 miles on it when you rev it up everythings fine when it goes back to idle the head lights will flicker i replaced the altanator and it did the same thing has anyone ever heard or seen this before thanks
After a little research, I found that the Front Control Module (FCM) is the one that controls the headlights in the newer Mopars. Most of the time, that is located near the power distribution box in the engine compartment.
Before replacing the module, try disconnecting your negative battery cable for about 5 mins. Then clean the battery terminals and reconnect the cable(s). That may provide a temporary fix. Also, with the older vehicles, when lights flicker it is an indication that the alternator is going out or that there is a loose ground. Though I doubt that is the case for you, it is always worth a check. Most part stores will test your alternator for free.
