Hard to come by from what I know of them now days. But Strong..

 

Not much on the car, boys have been out breaking stuff.

 

Just what the hell is that? Looks like a broke exploder and mud.

 

4 wheel drive Ford pick up without the box. Frame broke just behind cab, rear wheels were still turning until the driveshaft broke. Steve said it was still moving forward with the front wheels only until the driveshaft broke, beat up the gas tank, smashed the fuel pump which stopped the engine. Steve said he thinks if the engine didn't stop the front wheels might have pulled him out of the hole he was in with the momentum he had. It was a local mud run.

 

A spot for fuel tank, filter and pump. Mounting front end next.

 

Pop the wall nose first and throw fuel over your small block. I've never liked them in the trunk either.

 

The 1/2” tube frame, after removal for painting the perforated plates will be epoxied to the front end then fiber glassed over.

At a stand still as of late but snowmobiling is over for us now. Talking to Shawn and his brother last night and they payed down a plan to go at it hot and heavy now. They want to get the body done on my ‘70 Coronet too.

He did say he’s not concerned with getting it on the track this year, so I’ve got to convince him otherwise so we can find problems and correct them on the off season. He was mister don’t care what it looks like to I think he wants the body perfect before he brings it out. The next few weeks maybe month is body then it comes off so I can get back at the chassis. He’s trying to build a mud truck with a buddy. His pal wants to build a set of zoomies through the hood and has asked if he can do it with me to learn some farication/welding skills, I thought that was nice. He’s a real nice young man who’s just learning about cars with us.

 

I'd like to see the Coronet!!

 

The bodywork should go fast with my licensed son back from Alberta. They have decided to glue the quarter panels on which in years passed I’d say no, but the chemicals they have now are as strong or stronger than steel. All of the cars out there are today are glued together. And to prepare you Tom, no Chrysler colour, the Blue Duece colour Rusty Wallace ran on his car years ago.

 

I agree with the panel adhesive just don't be afraid to put welds on it also.
As far as color goes my Plymouth is a GM white and is going to be House of kolor covered in the future.
