Did you completely rebuild it and if so out of what? I was thinking of having one fabricated out of Aluminum and going with some 6-1 tach and speedo guages.

The Dash is made out of 18 Gauge sheet metal... Fabed by your truly.
It is a mixture of gauges.... Smalls are Stewart Warrner and tach is Autogauge.... Low oil warning and shift light are Autometer.... Speedo is a Autometer Elec. 5" A great unit by the way....

Pro-Tech... Here is what it is....
Crate motored 9.0.1 magnum short block
1977 360 Iron heads with a light match port in the intake and exhaust.
Stock exhaust Manifolds with Dual exhaust, with Chrysler Imperial Mufflers 2"
Replaced the 509" cam that came in the motor with a Comp 268H Torque monster cam...
Intake is a Edelbrock Performer RPM
Carb Normally run a Holley 750 3310-1 Vacuum Sec. with a 1" spacer. But new that Im not working it so hard. I Currently have a T.Q. on it..
Transmission is a 727 long tail with a TransGo TF-2 Shift Kit....
I run a Mopar Performance Convertor 2,200 RPM Stall "Yes It is Reworked"
Out back I run a 3.23 Dana....
Wheels are Stock Steelies 15" with 32"X12.5 on all 4 corners.

I have had this truck as my daily driver cents 1982... it has Had the following.... Get this...lol
3- Engines...
2- Transmissions
0- Rearends
2- Interior's
2-Paint Jobs
2-Frontend O.H.
1-Frame welded and boxed for the steering gear box.. You know... The fames crank... me fix Dam Good....hahahahahahahahaha
8-sets of tires
2- Tow-ins.... Yep..... That's the God honest truth!!!!

 

Thanks for the feedback on the fab. It came out nice. I like your list. 0 Rearends. And people say 9.25,s are junk. My frame cracked at the S box as well. How much of the frame did you box in to eliminate the problem and what gauge did you use on that part?

 

I wish I had Pics to show.....
What I did was removed the steering box. Welded and ground all the cracks and holes. On the gear box side I shimmed the box with a Lawson washer, Welded that to the frame....
On the inside of the frame, we shimmed it just enough to get a 1/4" plate to be sandwiched between, using more Lawson washer and longer bolts, After Tightening it all together, we got the sick welder out again and welded the plate to the frame. Something like 3-3/4"X6"X1/4" or something there about.
I also had the motor out and went threw and welded every spot up in the front end that had a Riveted point.
After resetting the alignment. I haven't looked back.. I think I did that at 110,000 Miles..... The truck now has 500,000 + miles

I thought you were driving a 95 Ram 1500 truck as a daily driver??? All those repairs...The things we do for Love... You would never know it to look at it... Where are the oak racks with the Gold Leafed "WARLOCK" and scrolls????....Bill

 

Pretty darn fair lookin' ol pickup. I, too like that style. First time I had anything to do with one, was LONG before Al invented the internet. In 74, I got out of the Navy, and in 75-6 or so, a friend of mine had a near new 74. He wanted a 440 and I had one. We put his 360 into my old FJ 40 Landcruiser and my 440 into his 74 W150. Lakewood scattershield, turned out to fit the 4 speed, found an oil pan and modded it for rear sump, I don't remember what we did for exhaust. That thing really really ran.

Around here if the word ever got out what it was worth... It wold be "Gone in 60 seconds" So I keep it under cover.... Really !!!!!
