A bit of work on the Coronet none on the race car. It looks like we’re going to concentrate on the Coronet when snowmobiling is done.

Well I guess it has been a while since saying hello, time just flies sometimes. Glad to see the usual troublemakers still hanging around. We are working on rebuilding another Jeep 4.0. Once it gets done we have a Ford F100 project for brother. It was Dad's but has been parked for about 15 years. Dad is going to help build a beastly motor for it, maybe a 7.3L Godzilla. Going to need a regear and some TLC. May be hard to believe but I have decided to sell both my Jeeps. As much as I love them and what I have created I am just ready for an upgrade. The XJ beats my body up too much getting to the trails and I only put about 500 miles a year on it. ZJ is still just so much fun to slam the skinny pedal and feel yourself sink into the seat but I am ready to have only 1 vehicle (and maybe get better than 7 mpg). Thinking a Jeep JL since a modest lift can put me on 37's yet drive comfortably down the road. Goal for this summer is a 1,000+ foot climb so maybe next post will have some nice pics. Take care Mopar brothers.

Thanks Man!!! When I tipped the scale at 360 lbs it was time to make a big change.... So started walking 2 miles every evening.... as for the diet, its not a good one, and it is not sustainable for any long term. But i have forced myself to only eat a turkey sandwich with cheese and wheat bead for lunch and a lettuce salad for dinner and nothing 4 hours before bedtime including water.. No breakfast, coffee, tea, soda, no oher intake...
I think I;m going to die at times...lol
I would like to be at 200lbs by the end of this year. So I have another 100lbs to go. Not sure I can meet that goal, but its a target....
Keep in mind... I have a bad lower back... Bad knees... and bad ankles from basketball back in my younger years... So walking and Swimming are about my limits at this point...
thanks for the kodos

Bob it looks like you're on the same path I am... I only eat supper and try to keep the calories between 800 and 1000 for the day. Some days are tough but some are only a boul of cereal about 10 pm. Last July I had lost 60 lbs got sick and gained it all back plus 20 more. I spent a week in the hospital a month ago and the Dr. finally got a handle on the problem, I've lost 30 lbs so far. Glad to see someone else working on the same goals I am!
I wish you great success

Good Afternoon Tom,
As long as our Government doesn't screw it up again for me!!!! I'll be retired in 17 months from now !! Looking at August of 2023 as an exit month... (Or unless something happens ????? The usual, Administration, Layoff, or just got my belly full and exit.) Thanks for asking...

Not sure if I'm going to stay here in California or not? Will see how that plays out. With the wife being ill and all. It would be a challenge too move and have everyone happy about it. so we may just make due with what we have. Got everything paid for at the moment, that puts us in a pretty good position? Wouldn't you say?

Only thing I need is a new set of wheels and to restore the old 1977 Dodge D150 WarLock 360/727 to its pristine condition. Other than that, I'm ready to close the book on working for the Government, and ready to work on other things in the automotive field.. Going to try to stay away from Heavy Equipment repairs, But may do a little! Just Cars and Trucks and Race Cars and Hot Rods... That should keep me in enough trouble.... lol

I'll just need to make some "Mad Money" to help with the hobby stuff, but I think I got that covered...

NOTE: If any of you other folks out their have any input? Jump on in and give us your 2 cents... We are all ears, Good or Bad !!!! Cheers

Still have the bike and finally getting weather for taking it out and about. Looking forward to the canyon roads getting the sand cleared enough to rip the canyons. Got out for my first camping/climbing trip of the year. 81 degrees the day we got there and snow while taking down camp the last day. Waiting for the machine shop to finish the block so we can start the assembly, feels like it takes forever. Nothing special on this build as it is intended as a reliable daily driver.

Yes everyone have a safe weekend as this is the kickoff for summer. It was the grandson’s last day of fifth grade and he was upset that the teacher he didn’t like was retiring he also doesn’t want to to go to sixth grade, go figure. Beautiful day mowed the yard and picked up and put away things getting ready for a trip to the land fill. I’m feeling much stronger now hopefully I will be out in the shop soon.
Wishing everyone good health and happiness
Tom
