I’m enjoying holding down the gravel in front of my garage and taking in a Beautiful day. It’s been a tough year I don’t think I have even touched my project cars in that time. I’ve been thinking about getting in the shop and swapping the rear axle assembly in my Ford project but that seems like a lot of work.
I hope everyone else is getting everything done they need to before the snow fly’s…
Howdy Mopar fam. Trailer project has been on hold since before motorcycle accident but it is finally in motion again. Taking to my fabricator to redo the tongue since it was not quite straight when we did it. He is also going to check structure of trailer to make sure extending the tongue does not create a weak point. He will also take care of completing the top and mounting tent. Tent arrived today but will be a couple months before he can get us in. With the plans to sell Jeep wanted to get trailer done and take them out on at least one camping trip before the Jeep actually hits the market. Will post some pics and update build thread when we get it back. Went camping last month to South Dakota for a week of climbing and adventuring. Was an awesome time but found I have some serious training to do before returning next year. Climbs were scary, 20-25 ft to first bolt on all of them. Slabby rock with not much for hand holds.
Thanks for asking. Long story short. couldn't hang with a diet, trying to change eating habits.
Had 3 trip and falls, Hurt my lower back, right ankle, and a nerve issue has come about. Sooooo im now limited to the amount of walking i can do.
So i've just fallen back to just focusing on my work load until I retire. At that point I should have more time to cook the more Mediterranean Diet food most Doctors are telling me i need it adapt too. (Eyes Rolling)
With my wife also way down on her health, holding down my day lob and my night job taking care of her, its currently hard to find a balance. But beyond that we are hanging in there by Gods will !!!

Finally got things moving on trailer build. Took trailer to fabricator to have tongue straightened out and have a lid put on top. He has my rooftop tent and will be mounting that. Will update build thread when we get it back. Many small details I am excited to share but will wait until I have pictures to show off. Hope everyone is doing well.

Heading out to work on a Brand-X car and install a fuel tank and a new fuel sending unit. also going to swap from a manual choke to an electric chock for this projects... Well Scrooge is out Christmas shopping this weekend weather permitting, I’ve got to pick up the boy a new pair of winter boots, he’s going to need them now that he got the cast off his arm. I’m running out of ideas for him he has been asking for a motorcycle sense he was six and now that he’s eleven I’m not sure what he thinks he needs. He says his first car’s going to be a crotch rocket and it probably will. But not this year. Oh well off threw the snow I go…

Hope you are all well and ready for this fine year to close? I know I am !!!!! Then its only 8 months until retirement. Yep, I'm going to see how the being a bum thing is Hahahahahaha.... Ok, Is retirement all its cracked up to be? Just checking!!! I don't want to get blindsided with an underlined circumstance !!!!
I think I'm fully retired now. For the last 2 years I worked two or three days a week kind of easing into it. I have not worked for the last 2 months and still kind of miss it. Told my employer I would come back to fill in for somebody or for a special project. but not full time. I have enough to do at home to keep me occupied and do it at my own pace. I was lucky that I was able to retire on my own terms.
