Rotella T?
that is what i always use now

when breaking in the motor, you also need molly lube on the cam and lifters, and you should also always use a break in oil, even after the break in is over

are you gonna rebuild the motor?
that is a lot of miles
but, engines that have been running for a long time do not require as much zinc as a freshly built motor
but you still need some zinc

Ok, I will look for oil with some zinc in it.

I realized that the mileage is closer to about 120k. The odometer is increasing at about a 10th of a mile every 100feet. Still a lot, but rebuilding the engine is last on my list of tasks

I'm not sure if it was mentioned before but on the IFSJA forum a lot of people there rebuild the AMC 360s and a lot of them use diesel oil as it has the right amount of zinc in it for the older motors.A lot of people have not had any issues and have been running that oil in their FSJs now for a number of years.

Just thought I'd add that in here.
