Have a 69 Coronet that I am doing brake work on. (drum brakes) How come the star adjustment wheel on all 4 wheels does not line up with the access slot in the backing plate? each backing plate has 2 access slots and the star adjustment wheel sets directly in the middle? Is there a pic somewhere of a brake shoe setup to see what is looks like?

 

Yep.............turn them around and they still line up in the middle
