Hey guys, doing well and healthy here. The race car is on the back burner, we're focused on the '70 Coronet to be on the road in the spring. Picked up a 2006 5.7 Hemi to put in it with a 4 speed A833, no 408 stroker like was planned. Shawn is super pumped and we've moved cars around, organized the shop with a plan to get this done. I might start a thread when we really get going.
Good Sunday Morning Y'all.... Hope you all are having a great weekend.... Welcome to all the new members here.... This is just my B.S. page, So feel free to jump in and say whatever is on your mind if you dont want to start a topic...

Hey guys, at home due to covid work slow downs with closures. It's my 37th wedding anniversary today. Working on the Coronet, ordered a flywheel and a holley computer soon. Worked on the Painless wiring harness, put the rear axle in to mock up the parking brake system and rear discs for caliper mounts. Just doing things that don't require grinding/welding until we're ready to rap up the glass and interior then final fab/weld everything. This is the same car I drove us to our wedding in 37 years ago, crazy!

I figured it was time to stop in and say hello. Been around scrolling. I ended up needing a few more small parts for assembling bike and just got them in this week. Got old headlight assembly for right side buffed back clear. Replaced left assembly and turn signal. Upgraded to LED low beams and have completed assembling the front cowl. Spark plugs got replaced while I was in there and had so much room to work with. Got rear piece of fairing mounted to the bike and the next day the wind blew my portable shed into it and scratched it. Not bad but still, dang. Got fuel pump moved over to new tank and installed new fuel level float. Old one was bent and would show empty with about half a tank left. Decided I don't like tank cover but will deal with it for now until I can afford to have it painted. Need to replace regulator/rectifier for LED upgrade and bike will be ready for rest of fairing. We have good weather for the next few days (with high wind warnings) and I think I will get it done. Once I get the bike back together I am taking to my bike clubs mechanic to have front forks rebuilt and to give bike a once over with experienced eyes. It is possible that the leaking forks caused wobble that led to crash. With a little luck I should be riding in another month. Will take another month or 2 for sand in canyons to be cleaned up but I plan on heading straight back to where I messed up and do it right. Finally made it to climbing gym yesterday, still a bit rough to reach high above my head but pulling doesn't cause issues. Going back to work next week, never thought I would be this excited to get to go to work. Even managed to escape for an ice run with the Jeep, group did not make it far but I was the only one with chains. Hope everything is going well for everyone. Bob, how is the knee?
Here is video of trip, only got the one hill on film.

Good Morning Y'all,
Hope you all have a great Friday !!! Rained this morning, But now the sun is out and it is going to be a beautiful rest of the day here in SO-CAL...
Sure would like to have your weather, currently 0 degrees here. Was a long week at work for me but still glad to have a full week in. Had to cancel reservation to gym this weekend to give myself a break as I have been pushing a little too hard. Hey Bob are you guys in a lock down status? Do you know what your state considers essential businesses?

Good Morning, Well dont over do it and injure yourself! That would not be good. Hope work was glad to have you back at it?
We are still in a Simi-Lock Down, But for the most part Cali is getting opened back up somewhat. I think the Movie's, Barber shops, Beauty shops, Micro Beer, and things like that.
Essential's are Services Needed, Police, Fire, Public Works, Stores for food, Hospitals, Gas Stations, Trucking,
Non-Essentials, VFW, Theaters, Racetracks, Mall's, Bargain Stores, Thrift Shops, ECT.
But it is always changing.
I have worked throughout this whole ordeal. Have not been out of work one day at all. I guess I'm one of the more luckier folks. But we have a Mask and 12' rule for the moment in my area... Works so far...
Hope that kind of answers your question?
Some people use to ask me what mt Challenger looked like after I put it back in Street Trim.... Well This is what it looked like.... Kind of wished now that I had kept it. But I really needed the Money for a down payment on the home I currently live in.
The car was sold and went to Japan with a lot of other muscle cars during that time. The car when photoed had... Painted was 1990 Nissan "Hot Red", Interior was redone in Black, Alpine radio with all the fosgate amps and crossovers with JBL speaker along with kickers. Talk about loud!!! Lets just say, like the country song, (There ain't nothing wrong with my radio)... lol
It supported a 440@ 11.0.0 CR (485HP) or there about.. a real torque monster... 727 A.T. with a TCS (Torque Converter Shop) 2850RPM Stall, and out back it had a 8-3/4 Sure Grip with 3.91's,... It was a hoot to drive..
The car had many different combo's over the years, but this is what it left town with...
