Just a lot of yard work from all the past rain that we have had, and now that its dry and the sun has been out. The green stuff has really took of blooming !!!!!

Oh boy it’s the 4th of July, I swear my 12 year old grandson looks forward to this date more than his birthday or Christmas. His first experience with fireworks was when he was probably three. The boy new I had firecrackers and bugged me until I would light some off so he and I went outside and I lit a hundred pack off.well before that pack was done he was inside grabbing my wife’s legs and crying his eyes out. That was a long time ago. Now he saves his allowance, birthday money and the he gets from his dad for his grades and spends it on fireworks. So he and I plus one of his buddies are in Mason City where is legal to shoot off fireworks and having a blast. Who new he would become a fireworks junkie…lol

It was pretty crazy last night in Mason City before the city fireworks, it sounded like a war zone. People are setting off bigger fireworks than you can typically buy and the volume was nuts. But the boys and I had fun watching people play and fireworks plus we all came home with fingers and toes still attached…

It sounded the same around here... and dang loud !!!!! And I don't know how these people afford those things !!!!! They are way pricy around these parts !!!!! And they shot them off for like 5 hours continuously !!!! That was a lot of money going up in flames... lol

Hey, I don't want to create a thread uselessly so I thought I'd ask here... I am 6'7" tall, do I fit in a 1968-1970 Charger? I know I am comfortable in "newer" models (tested as far back as 2005) but I don't quite fancy the idea of driving for 5 days to check out a 1968 Charger I don't fit in lol...

We Did really well.... Got a couple leaks in the back room, Not horrible, but dripping...... Going to get all the stuff off the roof and get a roofer out here to get this leaky bastard fixed before winter gets here...
