xaza, If I would have tried that, gravity would win every time. Not sure if there is enough cushion on the floor for me. Nice work.

I use one every winter for the bike. Works good and keeps battery ready for when weather warms up. I still start it about once a month for keeping seals wet.

Yes…. Firm believer in them..
just check the battery water level once In a while…
also.. Don’t try to start the vehicle with it connected..

for anything that I have that sits out doors… I use the Shoemaker Solar charger and tender…

I had a friend who had a 55 Chevy all he talked about was painting it competition orange, all I heard for a year in high school was about this orange he was going to paint his car. The one day he decided to paint it metal flake blue with a metal flake orange strip on the sides.. Well ok he must have put almost 3/16 of an inch of paint on that 55 and it was rough as a cobb. I tried sanding it with him but you had to watch out because it was very easy to get through the clear and hit the flake. I still to this day don’t know how he **** up the paint but after awhile we just drove it anyway, about four years later he stripped it down and painted it candy brandy wine, I sold him the paint when I worked for House of kolor in Minneapolis. No competition orange.🍊

That even sounds ugly !!!! lol
But the Candy Brandy Wine is a really nice color...
Never was to much into Metal Flake... Always thought it was for Bass Boats.... Hahahahahahaha
No, I like it on Low Riders....

This was the color I had my Wifes 55 painted.... Similar to a Black Cherry.

Been a vacation filled month for me. 6 months of diet to loose 20 lbs, 1 week of buffets to gain 15. On a plus side I got to climb a wall in the ocean.

It’s been a minute since Mopar has been in NASCAR anything, it would be nice to see them come back with something.

RacerHog,

I have a question I hope you can give me some good info for. I have a 1985 Dodge D100 1/2 ton with rear drum brakes. I want to use the disc brakes from a 2009 Dodge Durango. Bolt pattern 5 x 5.5, splines (31), are the same, but the axles on the Durango are 1/2 inch longer, and the backspacing on the D100 is 4.75 and on the Durango is 5.75.

Can I still use the Durango rear disc brakes for a conversion on my D100 truck?

Your expertise is appreciated.

If your swapping the complete Differential yes.... You will just need to make sure the spring perches are in the write place and use the correct offset wheels and tires... The rest is just fab work from there.
